HSTs to the Rescue
Description:
On 6/1/2004 the 1435 Paddington - Plymouth Service formed of 43176/43023 failed at Exeter St Davids station to take the train back to the depot for repairs Bristol St Phillips Marsh despatched a pair of HST Power Cars 43264/43170 to rescue the failed set. This type of working is very unusual and the train is seen here ready to depart Exeter at 2120 on 5Z74 2045 Exeter St Davids - Bristol St Philips Marsh
